To Download the updated Firmware:

1. Download the file BMP41_Upgrade_3.0.13.zip to the directory of your choice.
2. In that directory, right-click the BMP41_Upgrade_3.0.13.zip icon and select Extract All
3. Depending on your operating system, you will be prompted to extract the files to a specified directory.
4. Browse to a specified directory, or leave the default directory.
5. Follow the prompts to extract the downloaded files.
6. Double-click the setup.exe icon. This will start the installer.
7. Follow the prompts to install the software.
Note: You may get prompted to update your .net and/or your Microsoft c++, follow the prompts and the software will be updated.

Updating the firmware on the printer

1. From Windows search bar, enter BMP41 Update Utility and hit Enter. BMP Update Utility window is opened
2. Connect the BMP41 printer to your PC via USB cable and power it on
3. Click on Upgrade BMP41 button and the firmware will upgrade
4. Power off then power back on your printer
Your firmware is now upgraded on the printer

Included in Upgrade:

“Invalid Media”, “Check Media” and “Out of Media” errors when inserting authenticated cartridges in certain scenarios in BMP41 is now resolved.
